Free Field Trips

BRAHM’s Free Field Trip Program serves all K-12 students, including private and homeschool students.  Field trips typically include both a gallery tour and hands-on creative time with BRAHM’s Education staff.

Public schools may receive fuel and driver reimbursement for their trip. This program is funded by generous contributions from donors and St. Mary of the Hills Episcopal Church.

Can’t visit us? We will visit you!

If you are not able to visit the museum, BRAHM may be able to visit your classroom to lead an art lesson inspired by BRAHM’s current exhibitions. This opportunity prioritizes self-contained classrooms, and/or classes looking to discuss SEL (Social Emotional Learning) and expressive arts.  For more information please email  ed_outreach@blowingrockmuseum.org or call 828-295-9099.

"We are so grateful that the Education Outreach Coordinator could bring the museum to us in my art classes. My K-5 students loved meeting Ms. Jensen and learning about the wonderful exhibits at BRAHM. They got to see how art extends outside of my classroom and how art connects our community.
