Free Field Trip & School Bus Reimbursement Program
Free Field Trip & School Bus Reimbursement Program

BRAHM is proud to offer a Free Field Trip Program for public and home schools in Watauga, Ashe, Avery, and Caldwell counties. A limited number of reimbursements for school bus transportation are available for Watauga County schools that receive Title I funding, thanks to a grant from St. Mary of the Hills Episcopal Church.

Every year BRAHM offers several opportunities for our members and friends to travel with us to various cultural hot-spots on the East Coast. With tours of museums, galleries, and private collections often led by curators and collectors, these trips are not to be missed. Early registration is offered to our Society Level Members first. General registration for all BRAHM patrons is available several months before the trip date.

Join us on your mat to explore elements of current works on exhibit as we move through an all-levels yoga class. We'll meet in the community room with a slide show featuring different works each week. Classes will be led by Suzie Taylor, a recent graduate of the BRAHM docent program + certified yoga teacher. With over two decades of yoga training, Suzie is passionate about alignment both on + off our mats.

This cocktail with the curator will feature two exhibitions: Barbara Grennell: Mountain Tapestries and Take-Up: Intergeneration Textiles & Weaving Community in Watauga County. Patrons can expect one part gallery tour, two parts conversation, and a splash of cocktail party.
