Blowing Rock Plein Air Festival & BRAHM’s Show & Sale Sponsorship Packages

The Blowing Rock Plein Air Festival has become a beloved summer tradition, drawing talented artists from across the country to capture the breathtaking beauty of the High Country landscape. In 2026, we will gather from September 15 - 19, culminating in the Show & Sale on Saturday, September 19.

Beginning in 2026, we will be making some thoughtful changes to the festival. These updates include adjusting the dates to avoid overlap with other local art events, refining the format to better align with the Museum’s vision, and expanding opportunities for artists to showcase more works in the Show and Sale.

These changes are being made with care and deep respect for the artists who have built this festival alongside us. We are decreasing the number of participating artists from 100 to 60. This year, artists were selected through a lottery system that drew names from an interest form sent out near the end of summer.

We are, however, increasing the number of works allowed in the Show and Sale to three per artist.  We continue to work to develop the audience for the Show and Sale by surveying the guests who attended the event. In the coming year, we plan to promote the Show and Sale to a wider audience outside of our region.

But don’t worry—you can still be a part of the excitement by becoming a sponsor! As a sponsor, you'll get exclusive early access to the Plein Air Festival Show & Sale, where you can be first in line to acquire extraordinary works of art inspired by the beautiful Blowing Rock area.

Your sponsorship directly supports the Blowing Rock Art & History Museum’s educational programs, helping bring arts education to our local community, from children to seniors.
