Saif Azzuz Watercolors / Native American Heritage Month

Saif Azzuz Watercolors / Native American Heritage Month

Azzuz is a Libyan-Yurok artist based in suburban San Francisco. His work, which often addresses nature, land, and California Native American cultural practices, is in the collections of museums such as the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco and the North Carolina Museum of Art, Raleigh. Using watercolors, create a painting inspired by Azzuz for Native American Heritage Month.

Youth aged 12-18 are invited to join us at BRAHM every second Saturday from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm this winter and spring for directed studio time inspired by famous artists. Explore new styles and processes for making art. Meet new friends and express your creative side. Materials and snacks provided.
