Slow Art in the galleries at a BRAHM exhibition, Uncommon Volumes: Sculptural Selections from Studio Glass in the Region

Take time for yourself for a special series we are calling Lunch & Learn: A Slow Art Experience.

What is Slow Art?

Most of us stroll through an art gallery, pausing at a piece of art for a few moments before moving on to the next, like some form of visual buffet. Slow Art as a concept was created to encourage us all to stay with the art for a little longer, savor, and soak it in. The hope is that we not only see more, but also get to know the works in greater detail. Exploring artworks more slowly can help us to form more stories, feelings, and opinions about the works.

Following the Slow Art viewing, you'll get to enjoy lunch from Fabled Pizza & Provisions and a discussion with BRAHM docent about the artwork.

Meal selections must be made when purchasing ticket. Ticket sales end at 4 pm on Friday prior to the tour. (if tour takes place Saturday June 13, ticket sales end Friday June 12 at 4 pm)
