Learn how to create your own mixed-media pet portrait in a relaxed atmosphere. Using tissue paper and acrylic paint you can make a fun, colorful portrait of your beloved pet or favorite animal. Each participant goes home with a finished work of art. All materials, including canvasses, acrylic paint, brushes, tissue paper, and aprons, are provided. Please send a quality photo reference of your pet or animal to Kayla Reische at ed_outreach@blowingrockmuseum.org, or arrive at the workshop prepared with a printed picture. Our trained instructor will lead you step by step.

Wine, beer and light snacks are complimentary.

Participants must be over 21 years of age, with valid ID in order to drink alcoholic beverages. Participants under 18 are welcome with an adult.

Please Note: Limited seating is available. An 80% refund will be issued if the participant cancels two weeks prior to the event. For cancellations made less than two weeks prior to the event, BRAHM will issue a refund IF the museum is able to fill the vacated spot.
