Opossums have historically received an undesirable reputation within the
mammalian community. However, while not ‘playing dead’, these prodigious
creatures serve a vital role in the ecosystem.

Please join Grandfather Mountain’s ambassador opossum to learn, discover, and be awed by North America’s only marsupial mammal.
