About the Band

Loose Roosters are a roots rock band from the High Country of North Carolina. The group is a collaboration between songwriter Tim Jones and guitarist Chris Capozzoli with longtime Boone drummer, Dirk Brown. Multi-instrumentalist Blake Bostain serves as the Loose Roosters bassist and is the most recent addition to the band. This group formed in 2017 after Tim’s Dead and Gone release. Inspired by their love for the Appalachian region, political unrest and relationships with humans, Loose Roosters released Blood and Bone. Listen to Loose Roosters. They are trying to tell you something.

This year’s concerts will take place in the Alexander Community Gallery and will be limited to 25 participants per concert. There will be two showings of each concert (4pm and 5:30 pm) to maximize participation. Seating is first-come first serve.
