Rosa Dargan-Powers lives in the Southern Appalachians near Boone, North Carolina. She recently retired from teaching in the Department of Art at Appalachian State University, where she taught fibers, papermaking, natural dyeing, and puppetry. When not in her studio making books and cutting paper images, you might find her hiking, foraging, kayaking, gardening or singing.
