Trent Margrif, Senior Lecturer at Appalachian State University, will provide a presentation on phenomena generally described as ghosts, the supernatural, and more simply the unexplained.  Having worked in the historic preservation field for a decade he has been through roughly 400 abandoned buildings thus far.  He also has worked extensively in the collections of the Blowing Rock Historical Society in recent years and can provide some insights on local legends.  Trent will put the content of the current Haints at Haunts exhibit at BRAHM in a larger historical, national, and regional context through additional images and an open discussion with the audience.  Professor Margrif holds a masters degree in historic preservation and currently teaches courses on architecture, extraterrestrials, and time travel.
