About the Workshop

BRAHM or BR Garden Club Members Tickets: $55

General Admission Tickets: $60

Learn about Blowing Rock’s natural history and a bit of botany, as you create a life-size paper model of North Carolina’s state official state wildflower, the Carolina Lily (Lilium michauxii). All materials and tools will be provided, and at the end of this three-hour workshop, you will take home your creation in a vase, ready for display. 

About the Instructor

Dr. Lise Jenkins, author and educator, chairs the NC Master Naturalist program. A graduate of the North Carolina Botanical Garden’s Advanced Certificate in Native Plants, she sees the Botanical Paper classes as a fun way to introduce learners to North Carolina’s natural history and rich biological diversity.
