Tadashi Sato Watercolors

Tadashi Sato was a painter, muralist, mosaicist, and one of the most active artists to emerge from Hawaiʻi since World War II. Sato took inspiration from nature, calligraphy, and Zen Buddhism to create effervescent, abstract compositions. Create a watercolor painting inspired by Sato for  Asian, Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month.

Join us at the Western Watauga Community Center from 12 PM to 2 PM for a free art class. Registration not required. Open to the public. Materials provided. Classes brought to you by BRAHM and the Watauga County Project on Aging.
