Tadashi Sato Watercolors

Tadashi Sato was a painter, muralist, mosaicist, and one of the most active artists to emerge from Hawaiʻi since World War II. Sato took inspiration from nature, calligraphy, and Zen Buddhism to create effervescent, abstract compositions. Create a watercolor painting inspired by Sato for  Asian, Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Heritage Month.

Join us at the  Lois E. Harrill Senior Center from 10 AM to 12 PM for a free art class. Registration not required. Open to the public. Materials provided. Classes brought to you by BRAHM and the Watauga County Project on Aging.
