Afternoon Art: International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples
Tuesday, 3:30-4:30 p.m.
In early celebration of the International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples, learn about Aboriginal artwork, its symbols like the rainbow serpent, and how it connects to Indigenous culture and heritage.
Children ages 6 - 12 are invited to join us for creative art-making activities through a variety of media, from watercolor to clay. Each week features a famous artist, book, or theme to serve as inspiration and guidance for the art-making activity.
