Join instructor Marion Cloaninger as we explore scribbling and painting on papers in a relaxed atmosphere. Then, those papers will be used in making 1 or 2 abstract floral or landscape collages. This class is appropriate for all skill levels and the emphasis is on having fun while learning about color and composition.

Limited seating available. An 80% refund will be issued if the participant cancels two weeks prior to the event. For cancellations made less than one week prior to the event, BRAHM will issue a refund IF the museum is able to fill the vacated spot.

This workshop is appropriate for Ages 12+ and adults.

Cost is $55 for BRAHM members/$60 for nonmembers.

Marion Cloaninger is best known for her colorful acrylic mixed media paintings. Her process involves creating layers, applied in non-traditional ways, using Acrylic Paint, drawing media, hand painted papers, monoprints and found collage elements. Her subjects range from vivid abstracts or semi-abstracts of landscapes, flowers or figures. Her figurative works are distinct in usually showing the face without features. Her approach is to explore, take risks and be open to the unexpected.
