Weekly Artist Inspiration: Laurel Burch

For the final week of Women's History Month we'll learn about the late artist, Laurel Burch.

Similar to last week's inspiration of Frida Kahlo, Laurel Burch suffered from a debilitating disease but persevered and created art continuously through her pain. We know her cheerful paintings from popular art prints, fashion wear and accessories.

"I want to share things in the world that lift people." - Laurel Burch

Learn more about the passion and drive of Laurel in this short video:

Visit her official website to see images of her work.  http://laurelburch.com/

Later this week, join Ms. Jennifer for a lesson on drawing and painting Laurel Burch cats.
