Jim McDowell Living History Performance: "Dave: I Am A Slave"

In case you missed it! Enjoy this recording of Jim McDowell's living history performance, "Dave I am a Slave." In this one-man show, Jim assumes the role of David Drake, an enslaved potter who lived in Edgefield, South Carolina in the mid-1800s. He tells us about Dave's life and skill as a potter.
Then in the second half of the performance, Jim tells the audience about his life and development as an artist.
