Join us tonight at 6pm for a discussion with Brittany Twitty.

This talk will examine the poem “If They Should Come For Us” from a larger collection of poetry by Fatimah Asghar, titled If They Come For Us. We will explore the themes of who are “our people”, the power of community, the importance of knowing our histories, loyalty, love, and the ties that bind us together. As well as making connections with the themes and the recent events going on in the United States and the World.
